The Andrews Dream Big Assist Fund is a non-profit organization with the mission of relieving barriers for young people to DREAM BIG!

Our goal is to help remove financial and other barriers for youth to participate in physical activity and promote opportunities for greater community involvement with an emphasis on positively influencing neighborhood improvements.

Our highlight story this month is Leo Knott from Cape Breton. Your generous contributions at the Benefit Game this summer helped support Leo and his family.

We know there are so many amazing young people out there that for one reason or another are not able to get into a sport they dream of playing, pursue a sport at a high level, or to pursue a career through secondary education and we want to partner with you to help remove barriers for them to DREAM BIG!

We would love to have you help support these young people by completing one of the below actions! We are so thankful for any support you can offer in any way!

1. If you or your child is an Andrews Hockey Alumni, Complete this Questionnaire on how Andrews Hockey has had a positive impact on you or your player. We will use some of the stories/testimonials with Andrews Dream Big Assist Fund as examples of ways others can make positive impacts on the lives of people and communities.

2. Go to the Andrews Hockey Facebook Page  and Share the post on Andrews Dream Big Assist Fund to help draw awareness to the new initiative.

3. Support Andrews Dream Big Assist Fund financially via the DONATE link on this website.

A prominent activity this winter is our “Live Active in your Neighbourhood’ webinar series starting in this spring with Dr. Emily Bremer, Canada Research Chair in Healthy Inclusive Communities. Join us and share ideas for neighborhood improvements in physical activity in your community! Check here for updates.
