Dream Big
The organization began in the Maritimes with Allan Andrews' work supporting healthy communities by increasing access to physical activity for youth. Allan's vision of relieving barriers so young people and others can have a dream and something to shoot for motivates our mission and programs.

'Dream Big Striders' project!
This project promotes healthy lifestyles within communities served by the Souris Striders Ski Club. The Club welcomes every level of skier and snowshoer and officially opens its 6 km of lit trails January 1, 2026. Thanks to the Hon. Frank and Dorothy Lewis Community Strength Fund, the Souris Striders Ski Club was able to purchase 19 pairs of skis, boots of various sizes ranging from youth to adults, and poles as well as 10 extra pairs of poles. With these new skis the Club can now offer additional rental equipment to satisfy increasing demand within the community.
The project increases the availability of accessible equipment options, ensures that the ski fleet is well-maintained, and provides free or subsidized rentals, making skiing more inclusive for individuals of all abilities and skill levels. For more information visit https://sourisstriders.ca
